On our way to Munich, we stopped at the aforementioned castle (I'm not writing that again). Apparently this Bavarian king was incarcerated for madness while building this get-away castle. It was replete with Wagnerian scenes on the walls and a 20 ton chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Walt Disney visited it and based his Disneyland castle on it. This place was magnificent, but unfortunately they didn't allow cameras inside.
We took these horses up to the castle and they both gave us a show before we even got started. Horses sure must eat a lot.
