My little cousin, Amanda Bates, just took third place in the nation for Women's Division III Basketball today! They even knocked off the #1 ranked team to get into the Final Four. They end the saeson with the best record in DIII women's basketball (31-3, I think). Amanda has been starting at Point Guard ever since she was a freshmen, but this has been the best year in the school's (University of Mary Washington) history. She has one more year left. Next year will be tough as they are loosing an All-American, but I'm sure they will continue to shine with her running the point. Here is the article.
